Blue Hills Honey is located in Mawbanna in Tasmania’s north west. The Charles family have been producing honey there since 1955, a tradition that continues today. Visitors can taste the unique and world-famous Leatherwood honey, harvested from the Tarkine wilderness and made from the nectar of the ancient leatherwoods. Other varietals of honey including Tasmanian Manuka, Tarkine Wilderness and Blackberry are also available for tasting.
Enjoy some food at the Leather & Wood café, or buy selected products and honey meads from the gift shop. Tours available by appointment.
