There’s always something new and exciting to try at Pagan Cider’s cellar door, situated next to a working cherry orchard at Cygnet, in the heart of the Huon Valley.
Here you can sample their entire range of pure fruit ciders, including rare small-batch blends and one-off creations that are available nowhere else on earth.
Discover the story behind Pagan Cider, which has grown from a homespun hobby, fermenting local apple and pear juice to create tasty traditional ciders, into an innovative small company that offers Australia’s largest range of fruit ciders. Understand the passion and meet the people behind the country’s most creative cider company, as you enjoy – literally – the fruits of their labours.
Pagan Cider is crafted using whole fresh Huon Valley fruit such as cherries from Cygnet, blueberries from Glaziers Bay, peaches from Franklin and quinces from Lucaston.
Pagan Cider is alway evolving and creating new blends, and the home of experimentation is the Pagan Cider cellar door. You can taste special trial batches of ciders here, months- even years, before you will see them anywhere else: be the first to know what’s coming up.
There’s a sunny courtyard at the cellar door where you can enjoy a glass or two of award-winning ciders, with food available in the warmer months. Inside, a cosy fire blazes when the weather turns crisp.
Open every day except Christmas Day. Summer hours 11 am to 5 pm, winter from 11 am to 4 pm.
