Ship Inn Stanley

LoadingAdd to itinerary

Prior to its most recent revival by local owners Kerry and Alastair Houston, the Ship Inn Stanley has gone by many names since its erection in 1849. Today, perched next to the gorgeous planes of the Nut State Reserve, seven luxurious suites sit brimming with character. Part of the Inn, each room is hand-curated with ornate decoration, celebrating a story of its own:

  • Moo-Nut-Re-Ker pays homage to the stunning beauty of The Nut, which it sits adjacent to
  • Wild Wave is a touching dedication to the memory of the tall ship of the same name, and
  • Cape Grim Cottage grapples with a series of dark struggles that plagued the area prior, dotted with moments of triumph and redemption.

It’s a stay-in experience like no other; an opportunity to recharge in an environment dripping with elegance, embellished with evocative original artwork and equipped with the accessories of a truly luxurious, spoil-yourself experience.
