The families behind Spreyton have been growing apples there since 1908, and have been manufacturing award-winning apple juice since 1998. The company now also produces premium Tasmanian ciders in both contemporary and traditional styles.
At the Cidery you can sample tasting paddles of cider and then receive a glass or stubby of your choice.
With ciders made from 100 percent Tasmanian apples and pears, Spreyton uses traditional cider making techniques with a modern twist.
Craft Tasmanian beers and wines are also showcased, along with apple cider vinegar with ‘mother’ and cherry vinegar.
The Cidery is open daily from 12 noon to 5pm, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Australia Day and Good Friday.
